Bouquets
Bouquets are usually a bride’s first consideration when planning wedding flowers. Once chosen, the bouquet will set the style for the remainder of the flowers at the wedding, including table decorations and those at the reception venue.
The colour scheme and main flowers usually take their cue from the bridal arrangements. The Flower Consultant often likes to visit the reception venue before hand to ensure that the style you are hoping to achieve will sit easily in its surroundings. It is important to work with a location and never against it. For example; minimalist chic for a boutique hotel venue or traditional and rustic for a country manor.
The Flower Consultant has listed different wedding styles on the Wedding Themes page to demonstrate how to combine decorative elements to produce a finished look that is stylish and coordinated, but still personal. Be experimental, remember that it is your day, have confidence in your instincts and go with what you feel comfortable with.
Flowers leave some of their fragrance in the hand that bestows them. - Chinese proverb
